Dad decided that he wanted to do something big for Mom's birthday so months in advance we planned the surprise birthday party of the half-century. It was a lot of fun and amazing that we were even able to pull it off.

Aunt Jenny, Uncle Terry and Dad. They came from AZ.

Annie Reed and her daughter Amy came all the way from Washington.

By Mom's custom designed "Bread Basket" cake. It was delicious.

Mom entered through the front door and everyone was lining the hall.

When they pulled up Alexis ran out and told Grama there was a party waiting for her.

Quinn standing out front near some of the balloons, they lined the entire driveway.

Next to the cake a large blown up picture, we had pictures of Mom all over the house.

Tables set up outside with a yummy catered dinner from Woodranch.

The cake had Mom's intials and and 50 all in bling.

Blowing up balloons. Our color scheme was tourquoise, brown and cream.

Making arrows so guests knew were to come.
